stuck

since replacing the rear brake pedal the brake light has been stuck on. when I turn the ignition on the tail light comes on then almost immediately the brake light. there doesn't seem to be a switch of any kind for the back brake so does anyone know how it works or how to fix it ? thanks

A geek at work showed me a cool trick. He gave me 4 N-42 neodymium magnets and told me to stick them on the bottom of the bike somewhere. A couple guys at work have done it and they said they never get stuck at a stop light that won't turn. This only works for capacitance type traffic signal...
