switch

Have any of you installed a manual fan override switch successfully? I would like to be able to turn the fans on manually when I know I'm going to be stuck in traffic. Desmotimes.com made a switch for the other bikes but I'm not seeing any info on the hyper.

Based on previous experience I know that the bike limits revs to 8500k or so if it thinks the clutch lever is pulled in. At first glance this makes sense, but, as I found during my road trip, this results in annoying behavior if running the bike to redline and I'm not sure if it's expected...
