I noticed that my rear tire didn't look so hot after a day of riding on Saturday. It had been looking good at earlier stops, so I suspect it was the freeway push at the end of the day (high speeds into a headwind) that caused the wear pattern in the pic. Not sure if that was just the cost of...
I am replacing the stock tires finally and I went with Rosso Corsa IIs in 180/60. I'm a track guy and this taller rear tire profile is more what I'm used to. I think it will suit this bike quite nicely.
BUT, it barely fits under the hugger. I'm thinking at speed, it will rub. Guess I...
Recalled tire life:
1st tire: 2,600 miles
2nd tire: 1,500 miles
3rd tire: 1,500 miles
Yes, I'm hard of tires as I test the adhesion qualities of every tire. That noted, I have routinely gotten 3,500 to 6,000 miles out of tires on a number of street bikes. All heavier and more available...
The relatively new Avon Trailrider is well suited to the Hyperstrada. Its a 90/10 tire with deep tread for some grip off-road. My use was about 2,000 miles of chip & seal paved backroads.
The roadway grip is good, even in the rain. Probably better that the Scorpion that came with the bike...

***-gyro
Traction control light flashed when accelerating from a stop
I did a search and couldn't find anything on the forum. Going to dig into the press release...
We often talk about the tire we would recommand but what about the ones we would actually NOT recommand.
For instance. My shop in Ottawa gave me this Honda NC750X on two seperated occassions as a loner and I though the sliding and lack of traction was due to my inexperience the first time...
Hey fellow riders,
Since last tire changing, i have a problem with the front brake and vibrations on the front wheel.
I´ve changed to a Conti Road Attack 2, the steps exactly after the repair manual.
But now, when i sometimes apply the brake hard in low speeds, i get a really extreme...
Hey guys,
I currently have 7500 KM on my stocker and it seems to be holding up really well, but I'm trying to guess-timate when I can expect to need a new one.
I know well that tire wear depends on more than just accumulated distance, such as those who do lots of long rides on freeways and...
