So I used Halloween as an excuse to visit some friends and get some real touring in. The friday ride up from Sacramento to Arcata was about 5 1/2 hours and 300 miles including 140 miles of California highway 36 from Red Bluff to Fortuna. I'd only ran that stretch from Fortuna to Red Bluff...

Had a great weekend, put 1k mi on my hyper, running thru the white mts. in new hampshire. the bike seems to get better by the day, but man, i have to tell you, the mirrors suck! almost got picked off in boston coming home. Marko:)
