Probably too late for you, but the answer as I understand it is that the 2016 Hypers shouldn't have the Christmas tree dash problem, because they had swapped to Eldor coils. 2016 - 2018 was the 939 model (not 821) so have more torque, plus a gear indicator in the dash.

I got stuck on an unlit twisty road with no markings and a lousy road surface, and found the original headlight sucked. So I added two auxiliary lights mounted on the fork legs, wired to come on with main beam. Now I can see more than 50m! Then I saw an advert for a second hand LED headlight...

You could use the parts catalogues to identify the part numbers of the fork uppers and lowers (available separately, as well as whole fork legs) to check whether there are different parts. No point getting a cartridge kit that won't fit!

You could contact the factory directly; they have staff who can correspond in English. It's [email protected] I bought mine from XParts who work closely with Andreani. I got better information from them, including a phone call with the main guy who can speak English. They had a good price...

Do you mean the plastic screen has broken, or the LCD isn't working properly? If it's the latter, it could be the classic "Christmas Tree" issue caused by voltage spikes from the Beru coils. Read the FAQ for that.

Even more grist for the mill! I bought a workshop manual for the 2016 Hyperstrada, and it includes the following tables which provide different specs for models from different markets.

Well the 821 and 939 have the same part numbers for forks, and most other frame parts, so I would think that 939 wheels would fit a 821. I don't know whether the 950 is the same.

I have this exact slip on and it makes a beautiful sound. I've removed the dB killer for the full experience. Come on, somebody grab this super deal!

I'm trying to work out whether I have a cat on my bike. The parts diagram for it doesn't show a separate cat, so I presume that it's built into the silencer. Mine has been replaced by a SC Project slip on, so I'm guessing that I don't have a catalytic converter. Would that be correct?

I just measured the length of the side stand on my 2016 939 and it's around 223 mm, so it's definitely a standard version.

My baby - a 2016 Hyperstrada 939. Sure, the top box looks dorky, but it's so practical! Waterproofs, locks, space for helmet and gloves... ;-)

I forgot to mention that I was looking through the MY16 spares catalogue for the 939, but it also has no tank sticker listed.
