Ducati announces new Hypermotard 698 Mono

I'm sure you could move a few bikes over and make room for one of these, Nick:) And with your helmet on, we'd never guess your age!

How to get access to 950 Hyper workshop manuals. Need torque settings.

Hi Duc. I have a few items of Hyperstrada ref in the below Dropbox folder. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/w0pcav2qpv3rmjekok986/h?rlkey=aczhd96iw9x5m16s64pc34v86&dl=0 I'm sure you have these and probably more. Will look forward to seeing your library. Cheers. A

APS sensor repeatedly failing on my Hypermotard

I'm really sorry to hear that. Rain related then? So water must be getting into electrics/ electronics somewhere, you think? It's hard to diagnose something like that. The problem gets a mention on a few Ducati forums (I'm sure you have found) - Everyone's fix seems to be just to replace the...

APS sensor repeatedly failing on my Hypermotard

What are the symptoms? Is it a complete fail with no rev's to the engine? Any changes made to the bike? Tuning modules etc.? I can't help much, I've not had any problems, You have my sympathy though. -A

    Adventures in Hypermotard Tuning...

Is it that the exhaust servo driven valve is still operating? I had a remap which eliminated that and smoothed out the low rev's. I'm not sure if the RapidBike does that or not . . .

How To set the PIN code for Hypermotard/Hyperstrada

I think it's not reading the transponder in the key. Whether that's at the key itself or there (must be) a receiver on the bike. -A

    KTM 890 SMT... Impressions?

KTM are not really plugging it's touring capabilities. I'm sure it's a decent, capable bike but seems pitched more toward the Hypermotard sector. Kind of a less attractive one of these-

    Is 2013 Hyperstrada 821 suitable for 6ft6 (197cm) rider?

Hi tall guy. The HS is a 'compact' bike. I never really noticed "space between me and the dash/windscreen" being a problem, although the geometry does put you quite forward over the front. It's worth having a sit-on or better a test ride if you can. It's a great tool for conquering twisty...

What Ducati motorcycle are you most thankful for?

I hope our stateside brothers have had a happy thanksgiving weekend. The 916 is an absolute design icon. So thank you Mr Tamburini for that. For me - I am very thankful for this Hyper. My first (definitely not the last) Ducati has so much - agility, beauty, power, character, fun, toys, luggage...

Flashing fuel light and ABS light staying on at idle (hunting)... Anyone seen this before?

Someone on Ducati.ms posted - https://www.ducati.ms/threads/flashing-fuel-light.132596/ the flashing fuel light indicates a faulty fuel level sender or a problem with the wiring to it. mine went bad right after i got it. There's a suggestion of a different wiring fault (tail light) on that...

    Hyperstrada 821 - 950 Headlight/Fairing Transplant

On https://www.scramblerforum.com/threads/led-aftermarket-headlight-connector.16769/ Someone had a similar question about the plugs. One reply was- It looks like a 4-Way Junior Timer connector. 282192-1 | TE Connectivity, Junior Power Timer Automotive Connector Socket 4 Way | RS The 5 way...

Ducati DesertX with the 937 Testastretta Motor

The cover does say 'Desert' on it rather than the plain cover of the Multi. You would like to think they thought about it . . .

    2023 Ducati Multistrada Pictures

Nice moto-porn! Interesting that only the pikes peak has the single sided swing arm. Partly, that's what swung me to the Hyper over the Multi Good luck to Ducati. I'm sure they will sell well.

    Front brake question

Not scoffing. I've just started parking the bikes handlebars to the left! HS looks prettier like that too :)

Installing Aprilia (Eldor) Coil Packs on Hypermotard/Hyperstrada

Sorry to hear your ECU trouble. On your 4th picture that shows the 2 coils together. Maybe it is a trick of the photograph, but the 2 coils look very different lengths. Is that so? I read the Eldor coil is a tighter fit. Greetings from UK. Alan
