Anyone tried cutting thick piece of foam to fill the rear seat/ grab bar void? Even Styrofoam with a coat of paint would work. After a tail bag is cinched down it wouldn't go anywhere. I lash a 30L bag across the back but it's not rigid and rides fine. Never wanted to install top box plate...

    Stalling issue

Mine doesn't stall randomly. It had a stalling issue early on that was somewhat predictable and repeatable. TPS/ software update fixed it. Very rarely, my idle will fall when coming to idle after running hard on the highway when it's hot out. It hunts a little in this situation and if I...

Damn. You running a high mount? My Akra doesn't even get the bottom of my panniers warm.

    I'm back...

I'm getting old and we haven't discussed it in a long time, but around 2015-2016 there was posted proof that all models of that year (possibly US only) would be low versions. A quick way to tell, aside from measuring, is the seat. If you check out Killjoy's recent pics in the Hyperstrada Photo...

From that angle, it actually looks really good. Compliments the design. Are those CNC cut stickers? Wanna sell some?

I have some CF pattern wrap that I might try like that. I have a nasty bruise on the right fairing from a dump.

Nice find. Mind those were all "Low" models if you start tinkering with suspension upgrades.

"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

They may have been updated, too. If you go to an online parts supplier and they're on like version 3, Ducati shadow fixed the problem. I see this with broken **** I replace all the time.

    2015 Clutch Kits Now Available

Scrub this thread or search "judder kit". It was either 2015 or 2016 that someone on here realized they started including it as standard. If really bored, you could scrub the online parts fiche for those years against a Gen 1. The judder kit should be noticeable. It's a different friction...

Very nice but, I can't stop staring at that workshop. Would kill for that setup.

    2015 Clutch Kits Now Available

I guess worst case you can buy an OEM clutch pack for the year they started adding it (2015?). Probably not terribly expensive and a new clutch is always nice. Read about the special hardware you'll need to compress the clutch pack for R/R.

    Left boot horror

Believe me, aside from soccer as kids, they aren't really a fitness based culture. Just those amazing Mediterranean genes, phenomenal fresh fruits/ veg, and a lot of walking around hilly towns. Most of them still smoke. They aren't heavy drinkers, either.

    Left boot horror

On my Ducabike setup, my inner toe rubs really bad on the gear shifter when rowing through gears. Wasn't something that bothered me on the OEM. If you got fat feet, friction and sporty rearsets are just the reality. They probably assume everyone has armored racing boots on.

    Ok, so round 2…..

They may have added the judder kit to the clutch pack on 939, but same basic setup. If you really want a good clutch on the Gen 1 or 2s, go hydraulic. I did it the expensive (and pretty) way, Araitim did it very affordably. If you plan on a lot of highway touring, I wouldn't go back...

    Stalling issue

You want to dump the oil after because leaving a fuel additive in your motor oil is not recommended. Sounds like engine suicide but it works. When I lived in Virginia back in 2014-17, I was going to a Ducati shop in a rural area north of Virginia Beach. Back then, Rexxer and the Termi up-map...

    Stalling issue

Man, wish my RapidBike could reset the TPS. How does it work on the Rexxer? That that was just a hard coded ECU flash.

    Stalling issue

Well, you can drop a can of the fuel treatment anytime. Have to do the oil treatment right before an oil change since you dump it after, IIRC. The intake takes the aerosol stuff they make and honestly, not quite sure you can do it on our bike unless you hooked the tank back up. For a car, you...
