    High flow intake

I wouldn't worry too much - I had the Ducati larger intake piece and it maybe made it a little louder, a tiny bit of power, but certainly not a huge noticeable difference. Not worth spending too much time or money to get one. You can't even see the beautiful carbon work because it's hidden under...

    ABS warning.

Try bleeding the system. Also, I've heard of the sensor cables getting damaged by rubbing on the brake rotor. There is a small plastic clip on the rear swingarm that can be easily broken. Worth a check

    Which programmer?

I have noticed on other bikes that when I cleaned the idle circuit it ran way better. Even a tiny amount of gunk on the tiny orifice can affect the flow and make it run weird. Interested to see what you find out... you sure are tearing it apart!

    New Hyper 2019 Spied

Looks like Ducati is keeping the Hyper alive. They are going back to a trellis subframe. Redesigned beak and side fairings. Now with a 'bread box' and undertail exhaust. Appears to be the same 939 motor as the current model. Thoughts? I wonder if they will bring back the 'strada, or keep it a...

    Which programmer?

Absolutely you should have the throttle replaced if you haven't yet. I'm pretty sure it's an actual recall, not just a voluntary thing, because it affects your safety.

    Which programmer?

Keep in mind 20-40% throttle at the grip is only about 10-15% of the throttle butterflies, and also dependent on RPM; the butterflies don't open to 100% until around 7000RPM.

    19" Front Wheel

The motard is higher in front and rear (for ground clearance). Just for reference I lowered my other bike 10mm in back and it made a huge difference in handling. I ended up having to raise it back up or else it handled so slowly.

    19" Front Wheel

I would convert to a dual front brake line in the process. Makes bleeding easier than using a crossover. Interesting idea. I have a VStrom with a 19" front. I have never, ever tucked the front end on that bike and it makes roads feel smoother, and the diameter adds stability too. However it is...

Help me find the source of a rattle...

A good way to find rattles, as silly as it may sound, is to hit parts of the bike with a rubber or plastic mallet. The impulse excites all natural frequencies and will make things rattle if they're going to rattle (even if for a fraction of a second). I found a very sneaky rattle in my car this...

    rear sprocket has lateral clearance

Huh. Mine were loose even when new, I remember asking about it at my dealer at the 600mi service and he said it was normal to have some lateral play. Maybe the nuts were loose!

Mine wiggled also. Maybe not quite as much but definitely a bit of wiggle.

    Steering Damper?

My XR uses a big foam bushing underneath the joint to keep it from slapping. It can also be soaked with some oil to keep the joint lubricated. Might be worth a shot to keep it from bouncing around? https://cdn1.bikebandit-images.com/schematics/schematics/bmw/bmw005/bm0216019062.gif
