I have read in other threads (maybe not on this forum) about loose battery connections and/or bad/loose ground elsewhere on the bike. You might have to do some searching fore that thread. HTH

are you saying the starter engages and it doesn't start or you are having issues getting the starter to turn in the first place? Have you tried your other keys?

TRANSLATION: Hello everyone... The bike still stalls, CEL shows up, sometimes I just pull over, CEL goes out, sometimes I need to turn off the keys. Tried different riding modes, same problem. I would take the bike apart, remove the tank and clean all the plugs with a contact cleaning spray...

when I installed mine, I didn't have to remove that. IIRC, I did have to remove the instrument gauge and headlight had to come out completely (at least for me)

hmmm. not sure it is the same issue. I didn't experience surging. there is throttle response, albeit lacking in power and sluggish. worth checking out

nope, nothing else happens. No other dash lights. Once I restart the bike, it is fine after that.

Hey guys, 13' Strada with ~4,000 miles. Intermittent problem I have had is that the bike will suddenly lose power and I have to give it full throttle just to get it to move. This sometimes may be accompanied by a check engine light. Normal fix is to pull over, let it sit for a few minutes...

I would make sure the connector to the dash is on securely. not sure if you ever had it apart or not.

I would be interested how the bigger wires work out for you once you get everything back together.

front and back have 2 separate switches for the brake light.

uhmm. follow the wires? prior owner clearly put it in.
