Hi all,
I've researched and researched and can't find a solution to my 2011 Hypermotard 796 not starting. I'd like to solve this issue so I can start enjoying the riding season in Ontario Canada especially since it's so short.
My Hypermotard won't start. Symptoms:
Turn Key to on
- Dash lights up, ERROR "Start"
- No fuel prime
- No starter relay click sound
I jumped the battery to the starter - turns over.
I checked the starter relay - clicks when c and d terminal are connected to pos and neg
Cleaned up the starter switch. Nothing unusual.
Jump the fuel pump to the battery. Can get it to prime.
Checked all fuses with a continuity test - good
The kick stand switch has been bypassed.
It seemed to be running find until I washed it. I put in a PC6 and a new Lithium Battery.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
