Yes, all the service bulletins were taken care of, including software updates. I think I will pull the canister off in the next few weeks. I want to use that space for a stebel horn anyway.

heated grips are controlled by pressing the start button while engine is running. the heated grip feature has to be activated by the dealer (they usually don't charge for that if they are doing other work on the bike already, but don't hold me to that).

the throttle tube is replaced as part of the TPS recall. adding the grips won't change anything with the TPS. I don't know if the OEM grip comes on and off the throttle tube easily or not, but with the aftermarket set I used, I had to epoxy the heated grip to the throttle tube. this meant...

oddball question but has anyone had any issues with a pannier coming off at speed or on bumps? thankfully, haven't had this happen to me, but I do not have high confidence on the retention capability of the OEM set up.
