Andreani front suspension low vs standard on Hyperstrada 2014?

If you bring the bike to a good dealer, I think they could confirm which model you have.

APS Throttle Sensor Problem - Hypermotard 821

FYI: there was a service bulletin on the APS throttle sensor. You have to bring it to a dealer so they can check the part serial number, and if it is a defective one, they will replace it for free.

    On/Off-Road Tires for Ducati Hyperstrada

I live on a dirt road, and I had pirelli rally str on mine but it wasn't my cup of tea. Good tires, but I felt a loss of agility and speed on the street. I just put on Dunlop mutants and I like them better on the street - we'll see on the dirt. but from my house to paved road, they're doing fine..

Need Help with Steering and Suspension Problems - 2013 Hyperstrada 821

Yes, I also had a bad front bearing. Easy to check. It also sounds like you did a lot of work - is everything aligned properly. Shouldn't need a steering damper, though some put one on.

    Clutch Cable Adjustment Advice

Shouldn't be too heavy. You're saying it is a lot heavier than before the swap?. Did a shop do the work? They should double check things.

Hyperstrada 821 2013 "Christmas tree dash" problem

You are in limp mode. Bring it to the dealer and if it is the dreaded melt down from coil voltage spikes (or whatever causes it), it is very possible Ducati will do a good will repair for free. This happened to a friend of mine who bought a used bike and it screwed up - repaired no issues. It...

    On/Off-Road Tires for Ducati Hyperstrada

First I'd get a radiator guard. As far as graded gravel, I'd think that Pirelli scorpion rally STRs would be fine. I live on a dirt road, and I have them on my 821, and they work well on maintained dirt roads and on paved. People say they suck in mud - avoid mud. I've ridden them on wet dirt...

Pirelli or Metzeler Tires for Hyperstrada 821

Been giving these a lot of thought for next season.

Hyperstrada/Hypermotard 821 Carmo "Christmas Tree Dash" Repair Experience

Ducati did a good will repair on my bike. They also did a good will repair on a friend's bike even though he had recently bought it used. I'd have given Ducati NY a chance to get Ducati to do the repair. Also, with the tank: I haven't found any need to do anything with the handlebars, but...

APS sensor repeatedly failing on my Hypermotard

No problems since tightening those battery terminals. These bikes are sensitive to battery issues. A weak battery can light up the screen etc..The throttle assembly was replaced in 2014 based on the service bulletin. They had to look at the part on the bike to determine if it needed...

Buying Advice for Hyperstrada 821 as Street Triple R Replacement

I hunted around and had no luck. Try contacting the company directly - they are a ducati OEM so they might have an answer for you. Let us know what you find.

OEM Tool Bag for 2015 Hyperstrada 821

I just took mine out and never put them back in. A PITA if any on road access is needed.

OEM Tool Bag for 2015 Hyperstrada 821

Get that 4mm socket - you'll need it to remove fairings and they never included it. There's also a 24 MM wellnut behind the fairings that you have to hold while removing an allan head. I just took those off with no detrimental affect. It makes working on the bike a little easier. I also...

    Performance upgrades for Hyperstrada 821

Did this do anything to smooth out the strong engine braking on decel?

Buying Advice for Hyperstrada 821 as Street Triple R Replacement

I find the Strada to be a nimble handler. I also put full nitron suspension. The other thing you might want to do is a judder spring/clutchpack replacement (full thread on this), as it transforms the clutch performsnce. The OEM is a grabby thing. In general it is a bike you have to get used...

APS sensor repeatedly failing on my Hypermotard

I've had the limp mode and TCU replaced and all was good. Curiously, I pretty recently - years after replacement - had it go into limp mode, and at one point have no sense of throttle connection with it remaining at idle speed. Then I was reading on this forum about similar problems caused by...

    Removing Hyperstrada 821 Handlebar Risers

You have to replace the bolts with shorter ones. As I remember they would be the bolts used on the hypermotard as it didn't have the risers. I did this a years ago, and like the results.

    Adventures in Hypermotard Tuning...

Yes - the 2015 has the good clutch. Funny thing about the starter - mine has never been instant power (better with the Lithium battery), but it never has gotten worse over 9 years. Knock on wood. You're in luck with the fueling: Kuksol's information is the best.

    Adventures in Hypermotard Tuning...

Don't know how long you've had the bike, but a couple of things that help: Make sure the chain is adjusted right - the bike is sensitive, and will have a lot of lash which seems like bad fueling. Short shift to third when possible - irons things out to some degree. My main concern is the...

2013 Hyperstrada 821 Loses Power and Intermittent Check Engine Light

I've had the TPS issue and had it replaced based on the service bulletin. It is a free replacement. The symptoms were the soft fail, as described: limited throttle and a top speed of about 50 -55 mph. I recently had this occur again, but also a pure idle situation with no throttle control -...
