Thanks! I think I'm gonna keep the one for the bars and also get the usb plug with caps to charge accessories while in the tailbag.

I've been thinking about switching from my lithium battery powered vest to a 7 amp full jacket liner that plugs in to 12v. I searched for CANBUS power limits, and I came across a BMW forum where they said the CANBUS itself doesn't limits the wattage, but the engineers and their implementation. For example, some older BMW's had a 5 W limit, while newer ones have 10 W. I know there have been various mistakes in some of the Ducati documentation. Is this another one?:

Power socket
The motorcycle is equipped with two 12 V power
outlets protected by a fuse located in the rear fuse
box. It is possible to connect to each power outlet
loads up to 4 A (if both are used at the same time) or
up to 8 A if only one is in use.
