I have installed a 14t sprocket as I found it too highly geared. It revs about 7% faster but unless you plan on revving it out in top gear it should not cause a problem. I did not notice any increase in Fuel consumption.
I have never found the need to to hit the rev limiter so don't know. I would say "adequate".Thanks. And max rpm on 1st and 2nd gear??
Has anyone actually tried going up to a 16 tooth front to knock the gearing back a bit.
We tend to ride fairly long straight roads over here so a few less revs would be a bonus.
I don't expect that the top speed would really increase as a lot of BHP is needed to increase top speeds.
