I have often raised the final drive gearing, especially on singles, to reduce revs on our 80 mph interstates. The Strada seems pretty close to 'right' to me. But I note that when I try a top end test (on my secret private road if any LEOs are reading this) the bike seems to hit an aerodynamic wall at around an honest 125 (135 indicated). I tend to be a bit busy watching other things so I have not yet been able to tell what the revs are at those speeds. But I don't think I was anywhere near redline.
I might try a tooth or two more on the rear, going to a 14 front is a pretty big step. I don't have any complaint with how it works from a stop right now, just want to see if it helps top end.
However - I don't remember if anyone has answered the following concern - how does the TC and ABS like the difference in wheel speeds? Maybe not so much? Maybe that's Petta's problem?
