I am selling my Strada unfortunately to fund a new bike purchase. I am willing to part ways with it for it a little less than asking for you forum guys/gals. Shoot me a reasonable offer. Bike is located in Dana Point, CA.

From my craigslist ad:

All required services are complete and up to date.
She is in MINT condition (Dont let the miles fool you) and is ready to go across the country if need be.

-NEVER TRACKED OR ABUSED; Highway touring bike and Commuter

This beautiful Hyperstrada is in amazing condition and adult owned by a motorcycle enthusiast. I purchased it from a San Francisco Police Officer who babied it as I have since new. I purchased the bike with less than 8k miles and have meticulously maintained it since with oil changes every 4k miles with Liqui-Moly and K&N oil filters. Ducati does recommend to change the oil every 9k miles but I am OCD about preventative maintenance.

This bike has ZERO issues and starts up every time. The bike has never left me stranded or nervous about leaving on a trip to Northern California.

Recent Tune-Up at local Ducati Specialist includes new rear tire, Chain and Sprockets. Ready to roll!

Here is a list of aftermarket add-ons that can all be reversed if needed.

-Remus Slip-on with Cat delete (also has removable baffle to quiet it down)
-Shorty Adjustable clutch lever.
-Givi Mounting plate.
-Ducati Panniers (Bags)
-Fender eliminator
-Cycra hand guards
-LED Headlight bulb
-Rizoma Rear turn signals
-MRA Double Bubble also have DP touring screen
-Aluminum shift lever
-Ducati Performance intake
-K&N filter (larger to fit DP Performance Intake)

-New NGK Sparkplugs (less than 500 miles ago)

-New Pulley belts (Ducati)
-New Head Cover Gasket
-Fresh Brake Fluid

All Stock Parts will be included with the bike including:

What bike are you replacing it with?

Good luck with the sale :)

Currently looking at a Tiger 1050 or a Multistrada 1000/1100S. I am just looking for something more suitable for a passenger while still being rather nimble! :)

Hey Marco, I was reading about you trying to wire a phone/ 12v port up behind the headlight and maybe using the heated grip port. Did you end up using the heated grip port or cutting into the harness at all?

Also, how quick are you looking to sell? I'm in Huntington and will be in the market in the next month or so after I sell my bike.

Hey there,

What I actually ended up doing was using a 12v wire that is in the front fairing. It was installed from the factory (switched power) for the optional Ducati GPS. I was able to source a male end plug that would connect to the already attached 12v. I soldered this 12 male plug to a micro usb cable I had laying around...and walla! Switched power! Every modification I do on my bikes or cars...I like to be able to reverse them if need be.

As far as the bike, I am in no real rush as I feel my asking price is right on the money...Let me know when you are ready to buy and maybe we can work out a deal!

Cheers!
Marco

This is a little bump... I pulled the bike off the market for a bit as I was getting it California register. Turns out the previous owner (A SF cop) pulled all the emission sticker, so I had to contact Ducati to get replacements. Anyways the bike is now California plated and still fresh as can be!
