Hey Dirk,
I'd suggest you go back to your Ducati dealer and purchase an extended service contract for your bike. You can easily get this while you are still under the original factory warranty .... but time is short. Once warranty is UP ... NO ONE will buy that bike for much money. Why would they?

As of now, buyer would only be covered until May of 2018 ... so about 2 months or less. Not good my friend.

I would buy two years of coverage ... of course these warranties are transferable to buyer. You pay a small fee ($50 or $75 I believe)

Also, I'd lay off the "like new" claim when touting you bike. At 4500 miles, it is hardly "like new". :D

A selling dealer would install BRAND NEW tires on that bike and do a professional detail on it.

Better yet ... trade it in, buy something different or take low cash offer and pay off your loan.
