So I'm watching both the avg fuel consumption as well as the miles driven (since low fuel light) with keen interest while on my way to meet a buddy at lunch, when the bike ran out of gas!
On the freeway!
Luckily I was able to coast to an off ramp with a nearby gas station, so I only had to push the bike about 2 blocks.
When I filled the tank, it only registered 3.6 gallons. So much for truth in advertising
Had it a full 4.3 gal tank, I would NOT have run out.
And, yes, I fill to the rim every time - cannisterectomy allows me to "overfill" without consequences.
