Is anybody using alarm systems on their bikes? I was going to go out of state for about a week and plan on buying an alarm in the next couple days. What's everybody using?
I have the factory alarm system, mostly used it when I first installed it, it's loud if you set it off, now I don't use it, think I'm going to pull it...
How sensitive is it? I might be interested in it if that's what your getting at

You're better off with physical security. The blinking immobilizer is probably more effective than an alarm as casual thieves would assume it needs a chipped key to operate.
Just turn that sensitivity to LOW. I set those damn things off in my parking garage at work when I fire up my bike. If you have an alarm that goes off often, people will just ignore it.

It can be sensitive, bumping the bike can sometimes be enough to set it off, at least on mine...How sensitive is it? I might be interested in it if that's what your getting at
