Can a low seat owner confirm it is lower

I've readall the seat posts, but my local dealer assures me the low seat is only lower on the motard and not any lower than a stock hyperstrada seat. Does any one have the low seat on a hyperstrada and is it lower than stock.

OK, wise ones, isn't the "low seat" for the Hypermotard actually the same as the OEM seat for the Hyperstrada?

Yes. It is actually lower. Count a full inch less.

I'm pretty sure the "low" Strada has a shorter spring and suspension linkage, too.

I got the low version Strada, I could have fitted the low seat too, to make it even lower, but found the low version with it's shorter suspension ok for my 30" inseam.
I did try the "low seat on a standard strada and it helped with height issue but god its a firm seat, much prefare the lower version with a "normal journey seat"

I tried the low seat in the hyperstrada before buying the bike. It's lower but is more flat and it forces your legs to open more than the stock seat.

I hadn't got the sensation to touch better the floor with the lower seat than stock one.

I am 5'7" and i just got the low seat and I absolutely hate it. its hard, it pushes you forward, it changes the riding position and it doesnt make me appreciably more flat footed. Wanna buy it? I was going to use it for a custom seat but not sure yet.

Thanks for the feed back. I'm waiting to see how I feel on the low version which I'm told will come to the US in July. I have a 29" inside leg and can't get both tip toes down on the stock version so I was hoping the lower seat will help. I think I'm going to see how I feel before I spend the cash on a low seat.
