Changing the screen?

I've just bought a Hyperstrada abs the previous owner put on a bigger touring screen. It's great but it is pretty big. I'm thinking about finding a screen from the hypermotard, and changing it over. I can change back if I'm doing any touring.

Can anyone tell me what's involved in changing the screen, is it easy? Also where can I find a smaller screen? I'm guessing many motard owners might have put on a bigger one and still have the original...

It's easy, just the screws you see at the bottom of the windshield. Order a new stock screen from Ducati or find one in the classifieds on here.

It's super easy. 4 screws and you're done. I have 3 screens- all Ducati. I have the touring, the stock, and the carbon fiber. I like the stock screen the least- it creates an annoying buffeting. That will probably vary depending on your height and gear. The touring goes on when the weather gets cold or if I'm traveling far. Otherwise it's the CF, which looks the best and gives a smooth airflow.

If you are looking at screens you might see some listed with a bracket- that's for the Hypermotard, which has no screen. You won't need the bracket, just the screen.

4 screw/bolts. There are many companies making some inexpensive carbon shields(~$75-100) and ofcourse the expensive ducati carbon shield. I made one using my old touring screen. It was my first ever 100% carbon fiber project. Not perfect but I'm happy for my first piece. They are getting better with time.
