has anyone took there strada down the 1/4 mile yet? if so what are the times?

Drag Times

Think these are all motard 1100's. Read an article that said 0-60 of 3.3s and 11.2-11.3 quarter.

Used to have an accessible track but had to move.

whats the break in time for these? for service then good to go?
if so ill let you know what they run next friday lol

Might have been 6K. Depends on your school of thought. Mostly you don't want to run it to redline like it's stolen or drone on at steady rpm for extended periods. Best to just run it about all weekend and get it over with. Once they flush the break in oil out you should be good to go.

I recommend going with dealer's instructions as they will be the one you settle with should anything go wrong.

the book recomended arround 5.500 for the first 1.000km, and then 7.000 max untill 2.500km

i think i´ll do like in my cars, 5.500 for the first 1000km, then service, then 500 rpm each 500 km

Setting the bike at "Touring" would help. I use it when I'm breaking in new tires, very handy.

From another forum...Motocyclismo posted the following for the regular 821 motard:

- 99 rwhp
- 11.4 s/120mph 1/4 mile
- 140mph top speed

I'd expect it to be a bit slow on top, it's a barn door. Up to 80 or 90 it will run with most sportbikes, though.
