Drain tube above engine guard?

Anyone know what this tube is? Found a tiny bit of fluid on it and the inside of the engine guard when I took the engine guard off. Is it the gas tank overflow valve or something like that? And is it supposed to drain onto the engine guard?

Sorry picture is sideways! Uploaded from my phone.

Should be the tube for the petrol.

If there is too much petrol or it gets too warm and the gas want's to flow out or what ever - it goes through this tube. Thats what it is for.

I've never found a puddle of gas like some have reported. It will stink up the garage with vapor after a ride, however.

It's the drain line from the cooling fluid canister.
Mine spit out cooling fluid a few times when the engine was real hot.
Wasn't de-aired correctly.

It can drain a lot before you get in trouble, as long as the level in the canister is above minimum it is ok.

Good to know! Where's the cooling fluid canister? Is that the radiator fluid?
