Finally got my HYPER!

Just picked her up yesterday. I said bye bye to my 85 Shadow 1100 and jump on this thing! I'm going to need a lot more seat to to get accustomed to it...The engine is really smooth after 6,000 rpm...which is quite different from my previous ride.....Looking forward to getting my 600 mi service done ASAP!

I went to ducati class at Wagners over the winter - they seemed like really good people.Also nice to look at the Indians and the KTMs. Love the Strada though.

Thanks man, I put 375 miles on it since Thursday runs great and did a decent break in on it. The seat is really thin though...I might have to have an upholsterer add some material to it.

That thinly padded seat is saving your dangly bits. I wouldn't add any padding. The saddle is narrow enough that any additional padding will just add pressure to soft tissues. This lesson was hard learned after many years experimenting with bicycle saddles. YMMV

I just want more up top and way out front so I don't keep flying forward when I brake.
