New here. Got my '13 Hyperstrada yesterday

Every now and then I read about someone's purchase price and I beat myself up. I'm such a bad negotiator I guess...

I dunno. I guess if I deduct the $1000 extra on my trade, the $295 in free heated grips, the free first service (maybe 150 to $200), no freight, prep, etc... maybe it wasn't so bad at around $1500 off? I mean, people getting the same bike I did at the same time for under 10K? That has to be plus other fees besides tax and tags, not out the door...

Bring it on! *********** forever! :p

Seriously, though...the forks are sprung for a 120 pound rider. You will be amazed at how much better a simple spring change and revalving works.

Check out the Fork Upgrade thread.

PS not one electrical problem on mine, and it is nearly a year old with 5k miles.

Ah, SO that's why I find the suspension perfectly adequate on mine. I'm only 130 lbs. so I guess it was designed for me! :p
