New owner 2500 Ks. After reading all the threads on this, today I modded the right leg. At 150 lbs I had 31 mm sag, harsh and not moving much at all, only using about 100mm of travel even standing it on it's nose. The manual shows 25% more oil in the right leg so I dropped the level from 95 to 125mm. that's everything compressed spring out I have never seen a fork with such high oil in any road bike. The damper rod was very hard to push or pull, overdamped, so I went from shell 7.5 @ visco 22 to ohlins 1309 @ visco 19. The result I like a lot, Front now feels very similar to the rear in action which is what I go for, 41mm sag, using more travel under hard braking but not bottoming out on the big hits, smoother, nicer on the hands. Happy to leave the forks alone now.
