HS owners with Andreanis... please chime in here

Hey guys!
New HS owner here in Singapore. Ive got the Andreani forks installed on my bike but did not get any manuals with it. Are there any online? Have not touched the screws at all yet because it kind of works fine. Im not experienced enough to judge yet. But I also do have the invisible bump judder but I thought it is the way it is. Felt it on the Monster 821 too, that I tested for 2 days prior buying the HS.
I want to know the adjustments on them. Right now I have a sag of almost 5cm, but think its a bit too much/too low. No??? Think I have the lower HS for Asia market.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum, Henrik. If you have the 'Sella Bassa' model, the forks will only have 120mm of travel...very easy to check with the bike on the centerstand. However, the Andreanis might change this. The parts list does not show any internals for the standard forks, so it's hard to tell without measuring. Sag w/rider should be around 25% of total travel. Racetech states up to 33% for street use, but most tuners recommend 25%. Depends on how soft you want the ride, I guess. 50 mm would be 33% of the regular Strada's 150mm total travel.

I would try to find out what the spring rate is in those forks. Perhaps the previous owner could tell you? Racetech has an online calculator that is quite useful. For my 73 kg (no gear) they put in 0.85 kg/mm springs. OEM was only 0.62!

Nursedaddy,
Give Jim over at Pro Pilot Suspension a shout. He is In Jersey so that may be a journey to get there but he may have some ideas for you.
