I found a Multistrada termini for really cheap so I decided I would take a chance and see if I could make it work on the Hyper. I did not want to lose the cat so I bought an additional stock exhaust to chop up, steal the cat and meld with termini. It is not finished but I seems like it worked out!

I still need to tidy it all up, make an exhaust hanger and rivet the carbon back in place, but so far so good.

Looks great. I seen a few of those exhaust builds on the Thailand pages. They said it was from the multistrada. It's good to see how it gos together. Good job. Looks great. I especially like that cover that covers the junction point. I would like to find something to cover mine

I like it a lot. Way cleaner design than the Hyper model. Probably a lot more of those on the market used, too.

What model year Multi is that Termi for?

The sound seems pretty good, but I have only taken it around the block.

I am not sure the year, it is for a Multistrada 1200, part number is 96480711A.

I am REALLY considering doing this, but I'm clearly not crafty enough as I can quite tell from your pictures how you made this happen. It *looks* like you basically cut out the bottom portion (presumably the cat) of the stock exhaust and attached it (welded presumably?) in place of the whatever linkpipe was there for the multi?

Yes, in the simplest terms I cut the cat out of the stock exhaust and welded it to the multi muffler. I also modified the carbon and black aluminum covers pretty extensively in order to make them work.

Do you have a pic of the finished piece not mounted on the bike? What did you do with the carbon fiber seam?

Hands down the best looking exhaust for the Hyper !! I'd think it was even more awesome if I wasn't so freakin' jealous ...

Well done, keep the pics coming please!

Not a fan of aftermarket noise makers. But that does look great. Maybe because its Duc to begin with. Nice lines.
