Front Brakes Rubbing

I had some new TK80's installed at my local non dealer shop. These guys have been very reliable mechanics on my bikes over the years. I noticed that my front brakes were having a slight rubbing on the rotors after the tire install and took it back this morning. They remounted the front wheel yet I still have the rubbing that I can notice at slow speeds or even when I push the bike. Big deal or not? The shop didn't seem to think so...?

Thanks Nate! This is what we did at the shop. We put it on a stand. It's very little rubbing but I honestly never noticed it prior to these tires.
 
The pads are always in light contact with discs. Take a ride and see if the discs are hot, just to be sure. You could also loosen the caliper bolts, squeeze the calipers to align them and tighten them while squeezed.
 
I'd trouble shoot the way we did with the 1st gen noisy brakes issue. Hit the rotors with brake cleaner and a scotch brite pad. Lightly oil all the bobbins between the floating disc. I like to use a gun oil product that comes in a very sharply tapered syringe - you don't want to get oil on your disc surface. Spin the bobbins as you oil and make sure they're all free to move. They need this about every oil change or will bind up and create friction in the rotors.
 
Folks I'm just going to take the bike in to the dealer next week to sort it out. After watching the video above it became clear my local shop who I use for my CRF250l probably are not that sophisticated for my Ducati. I thought I could get away with just a tire change but I don't want to keep having to run out there and back.
 
The calipers on our bikes, from what I've read elsewhere, sometimes suffer from piston sticking...use this for the pistons...you can clean them up with brake cleaner and Q-tips and re-grease them without taking them all the way out...IF they are sticking out a bit, this should help, mine usually don't drag unless I have the axle spacing off a bit...

That looks like an interesting product. I use brake fluid on the pistons but I can see this being good for levers etc. as silicon doesn't attract grit. Something to add to my grease collection :)
 
I have been facing a very strange issue on my Hypermotard brakes. I had fork oil on my right brake rotor. Literally soaked. So i replaced the brake pads with new pads from brembo.

I made a 2500km ride after this. However, when i applied brakes, when the bike has slowed down considerably, there is this very weird grinding noise as if pads are worn and now rubbing against discs.

To figure out, I literally sprayed 2 bottles of brake clean at different intervals, removed the pads cleaned in brake clean, checked the bobbins in the rotor. No change. It doesn’t inspire confidence to make hooligan be one! Scared to push it wondering it could seize
 
A little bit of drag is normal, as is some noise when braking. Pads look ok visually though I've never seen red paint on any brembo parts, are you sure those are OE parts? I replaced my stock pads at 16 thousand miles with some EBC Double H pads. I definitely notice more noise when I apply them. I also had to clean the caliper pistons as there was a lot of buildup on them. Did you check to make sure all pistons were clean and moved freely?

I am going for a longish spin tomorrow. Let me see if it still persists. If not, will get caliper out and check

I bought these brakepads from Carpimoto. However i did ask my mechanic to wire brush the pads. He said that pads seemed harder to clean the build up. Replaced the red ones with OEM. Feel better. There is some sticking of pistons and will try to apply calliper grease after cleaning
