Full Suspension Service by Fast Bike Industries

I just finished installing the front and rear suspension on my hypermotard 821sp after a full service by Fast Bike Industries. Spring rates were lowered to match my weight, the stock springs (Andreani front, Ohlins rear) rates were way to high for me (170lb including gear). I couldn't set the right sag with the original springs and the ride was a bit rough. The bike only felt compliant in much higher speed maneuvers.

I also had them lower the suspension by almost 1", it was actually at their recommendation. The bike feels very compliant with a great planted feel around curves. Slow speed turns have also improved a bit, but my overall satisfaction has to do with how smoothly the bike handles overall.

The price was fair and the customer service from the beginning to the end was exceptional. David the owner went over everything in detail and made some great recommendations; Tieg did the work on the suspension and called me twice to confirm everything, and Burch at the front office handled all the details of the transaction with ease.

This was my first time working with "FBI" and if you're thinking about suspension work, you may want to at least talk with these folk.

Very much appreciate the recommendation. I'm in the area and I've been searching for a suspension shop in town but all I could find was dirtbike specific, short of riding to Tucson.

I've read countless guides to suspension tuning but it still doesn't make complete sense to me, and I'm not sure what I should be setting up or down. I'll give these guys a call and hopefully they can explain it to me in a way that'll finally click for me.

[EDIT] I assumed that they were in the Phoenix area, based on your location, but they don't appear to be local. Are they?

I should mention that they sent an empty box with packing material that was designed to handle suspension parts with a return label using their ups account, which was more affordable than the rate I could obtain.
