Givi monokey adapter

I've got the DB Givi mounts on my strada.

Ohayo: The monokey adapter uses the same "rack" on the bike that the stock bags use. All you do is remove the steel connection points at the ends, and bolt the adapter on to those points with some spacers.

GTHawk: Monokey bags use a fairly simple 3-point connection to the adapter. There's a button on the top that releases the bag from the bike. The adapter stays bolted on.

A few notes...
- I bought the trekker bags. They're waterproof, but only when you keep them closed. Even if it's not raining, water likes to find its way into cracks on the bags, and then into the bags from there when you open them.
- The smaller trekker bags are almost the same width as the handlebars. But, they're so big that the pillion footpegs are almost covered up. 2-up riding is not recommended.
- The big trekkers mount the same way, so you can buy those if you need extra cargo space. The small ones fit a decent sized gym bag each, and the large one fits two helmets.
- The Altrider luggage rack has pre-drilled holes for the monokey attachment points if you want a top case. You'll have to buy the kit separate and bolt it on yourself.

I just installed the Trekker panniers. For my use and needs, they are terrific. Please note that a helmet will not fit inside the case. I will post additional close up pictures soon.
