I have been waiting more than a year for this plate! I received it and will hopefully mount it this weekend if I can get time away from the Grom.

For some reason Givi is not bringing in too many, but there are a couple available at RevZilla.

Givi SRA7403 Top Case Rack Ducati Hyperstrada - RevZilla

QUESTION, which tail eliminator is the most recommended at this point? It seems like the Evotech and R&G are the most popular...

UPDATE *****
Pictures.. I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out. My bike looks all grown up now. I just need to get a case to mount on it.

thats the givi mount i fitted, I had it anodised black, looks much better.
Not sure which tail tidy would work though as the brakets to support might get in the way!

I really want to buy one but it looks like it doesn't work with the support arms that the normal Ducati top plate comes with and that makes me worry about how much weight it can support.

Any numbers? Does it work with all Givi cases?

Only works with monokey cases and max 6kg weight (with support brackets)

+1 It does come with support arms. They are black. The plate is silver. I'll try to get pics up this weekend. Unfortunately, I don't know what monokey box I will get yet. Monokey is the way to go though.

Thanks for the reply. I realized I was an ***** for not clicking on the instructions manual...it had it all there! Doh...

I've been hunting to see if the Multistrada case would hook up onto the Givi plate as it is made by Givi as far as I remember.

Any of you guys know if this mounting plate will work with a multistrada mounting case?

Thanks!

My friend has a Multistrada case. Once I get this installed this weekend, his case is literally, the "test case".. I am assuming it will work fine since they are both monokey.

Got this on the wife's bike and it did fine with a v46 topcase and one long weekend trip already. Note tho there is a warning for the weight, think it was something silly like 12lb or so (will check when I get home). but it felt very sturdy and betting it can handle a lot more then that.

but overall very nice givi install, the mounting points for straps/cords was a nice aditive to the plate form givi. Its what I expect on sw-motech items, so happy to see this on stock givi.

How about a photo from up underneath?

Here you go.. Best I can do, these are from Sunday. It's actually incredibly simple. Givi provides replacement, longer screws to mount the U shaped horseshoe tubes. You remove the stock ones, hold the mount in place, screw in the new screws to hold the mount and bam. Like Emeril Lagasse.

GTHawk, any pictures of the V46 topcase on there? I was thinking of buying that one.

I'd love a rear/side/front view of it to see how it looks on the bike size/width wise!

Thanks!

I am considering buying a Trekker 33 liter.. I don't want anything too crazy back there. I may pick up a V47 as well for when I have a passenger and a lot of crap to carry. At the end of the day, I am not entirely excited about a top case. I feel like it's taking away from the beautiful lines of the bike.

I have to make do with top case as I don't like side cases..but I do agreed with TitoZilla, must choose the right top case so it won't take the beautiful lines of the bike..too much..will see how TRK46B Trekker look like on the bike..

Pictures with V46 Monokey Case

Here is a Ducati Performance 1100DS case on my Hyper. I AM NOT USING THIS ONE! Just wanted to make that clear. I think a V47 Monokey will look pretty nice considering the look of the bike. The Trekker 33 will look pretty cool and small, you just can't hold a helmet. The trekker is also more expensive for some reason, but all in all, this whole set up cost way less than Ducati Performance.

I have the Competition Werkes fender eliminator kit mounted on my bike with the GIVI mounting kit and there's no interference between them

However, I'm not a huge fan of the CW product, I don't think it looks that nice and was harder to assemble and install than it needed to be, I think if I were to do it again I'd try a different manufacturer's fender kit.
