GIVI Tail Box - Ideas?

I have this rack on my bike. It's a Givi. Looks like every Givi rack I've seen ...
So ... will ANY Givi box fit onto this or does it have to either the Monokey or
Monolock? I know one is for more weight ... but what's the underside actually look like? (Lock vs. Key??) in terms of fitment and snapping into place.

I would like a smallish box that is in scale with the size of the bike. (IMO,Most are TOO big) I think I can get by with 30 to 35 liters. Only used round town or
day rides mostly. For longer rides I'll try stock panniers for now. (only ridden bike so far a couple hours)

Any ideas for a nice looking GIVI tail box or other brand? Soft bag? It does NOT need to hold my helmet.

Anyway, below is the GIVI rack that came on my bike. (bought bike used)

Man, Andreani suspension and Givi tail kit. You got a gem. The stock tail kit matches the side bags and only requires some braces connected to the subframe. Still, it's fabric and wears just as bad as side bags. I very much like stripping my Strada naked and running clean on the weekends, hence never gonna install tail or aftermarket side luggage (they require giant, hideous support frames).

Oh, I have nothing to contribute to your tail box post.

We all need to carry some stuff, be it with some sort of backpack or a bag on the bike.

My preference is for a small tail bag.

Me like! How does that bag attach to your rack? I hate having a bunch of bungee cords going every which way. Need a clean attach ...
yours looks GOOD!

(I hope my Strade never gets that muddy!)

You can see that I cut two flat aluminum pieces and connected them to the Strada rack with simple bolts.

Solder ironed two holes in the bottom of the bag to match two holes in the center of each aluminum flat stock.

Cut flat aluminum plate for bottom of bag, fender washers and two more bolts with nyloc nuts.

Easy and very secure. Tested in extreme winds for thousands of miles being hung on the back of my 4Runner.

That bag has a place for a small combination lock to keep honest people out.

Tools: Soldering Iron, Drill & Jigsaw.

I cut off all straps.

Makes it easy for me to switch between bags depending on what is being carried. Most of the time a smaller bag.

Try the Givi Dolomiti 30 liter top case. I believe its the smallest monolock fivi has to offer. But i use the moose racing expedition 25 liter top case
