Hard Time Finding Neutral

Bike - 2014 Hyperstrada 5500 miles

Recently (last 2 weeks) I have had a really hard time finding neutral when the bike is stopped at a red light. Seems like when I half click up, just keeps going into 2nd. Have no problem at all getting into N as I roll to a stop (under 5-8 mph)

Ideas? Similar problems? Suggestions?

Make sure your clutch cable has the proper amount of free play. Usually when mine starts doing that, my clutch is slightly out of adjustment (usually 1-3 notches).

Lots of discussions on this. Hyper is really picky on clutch play. If you can't get it working normally, you'll have to start playing with the secondary adjuster under the seat.

yeah. I've found it a good idea to use the secondary adjuster to get the lever adjuster to be approximately centered on its threading, and the free play close - then use the lever adjuster to fine tune.

Any quick points to where the secondary adjuster is under the seat or just look in the owners manual?

search, young grasshopper. Definitely spelled out in an older thread. Under one of the black triangular blanking plates where your inner thigh rides under the tank. Can't remember which side.
