help with switch replacement

Hey there

So I have this clutch microswitch that needs to go in. But for the life of me I cannot find any resources on where the wire for the switch actually goes. It heads into the instrument cluster and disappears. I dont want to disassemble everything for nothing.

Where do I go to find where this thing connects to the bike?? Should I be looking behind the headlight or under the tank?
