Name is Mike, have around 1200mi on my hyperstrada so far...
This is the 2nd ducati I have owned... the first was a 2001 yellow 996 which I put about 16,000mi on. My thoughts on the strada so far:

Disclaimer(im 6'1" 240lbs weightlifter, everyone is different and may therefore have different opinions, these are just my personal experiences thus far :)

Negative:
-stock windshield is a little small to be of any real use, wind hits me in the neck area.
-riding 2-up ive scraped the center-stand more than a few times on turns that i would not consider aggressive, could be a pre-load issue as I havent cranked it up as hard as it will go.
-seat padding is decent however the edges seem to cut into my thighs after a while in the saddle
-wet clutch lol. not a real complaint but i kinda miss the chatter of my 996 dry clutch.

Positive:
-great, easy to control power
-being able to customize the riding modes(touring is default, but i changed sport into more of a "raw(as in minimal DTC and ABS interference)" and urban into a "heavy rain" mode)
-great gas mileage, 50.7mpg over my 1200miles, thats probably 66%highway 33% urban/rural 2 lane
-versatility. basically a sportbike with higher ground clearance and storage
-ducatis have character, this probably sounds weird unless you've owned one.

I've encountered the same issue with the side stand hitting on a turn. I'm a 165lb solo rider and preload was 4 turns out from maximum. there was a small dip in the turn as I was pretty aggressively riding. Does concern me though, I don't want to end up with a low slide. I was thinking of removing it for aggressive riding as a safety measure
