Have had the Hyper for 3 days now and can't believe how well the ABS works.... Never had this on a bike before. I feel much safer knowing the bike will stop faster than I have been able to achieve on previous bikes. :D

ABS on motorcycles is the biggest safety feature ever. I know there are some that say they can manually out perform ABS. But I contend that in a panic situation, ABS is the ****. Just grab a handful of brake and hold on.

If you ever panicked and instinctively grabbed a handful of front breaks, only to be rewarded with bike falling right out front under you, ABS is a must have. I've been bedding breaks and doing aggressive stops and haven't found pulse point of fronts yet on Touring.

Same here, took it easy on the brakes and generally do anyway. Love the ABS on the Super Tenere, it is very good offroad also.

I was in the rain yesterday, tho I lit up the traction control light in 3rd gear on wet road never activated the ABS.

I had a 1100GS back in the day that was my first experience with ABS on a bike and sure enough when a panic stop occurred and massive amount of break was applied that bike stopped dead in a straight line! I was expecting the back end to slide all over the place like what usually occurs with non ABS bike but that didn’t happen.

ABS is insanely good. Had a quick stop in the rain today on a downhill at a busy intersection. Solid, easy stop with front brake only from about 45mph.

I agree. I had a car break hard in front of me in a very strange unexpected location. Unfortunately, it was right when I glanced to the right to observe a car coming into an intersection too quickly. When I looked up I had to really get on the brakes to avoid a rear collision It made a possibly bad situation a non-event.
