HS forum future

Considering that HS is no longer in production I am wondering about the future of this fórum.

The last HS were sold in 2017, nothing in 2018

I was checking other Ducati forums I guess this is the most active and helpful of all. Many members, very active, lots of participation.

I wish this activity continues for long time. I plan to keep my HS 939 as long as I can.

Any thoughts ?

I think the forum will transform as prices eventually come down and the bike becomes more accessible to the 'tuner' crowd, and people more willing to transform the bikes into weird things. Right now the demographic is still pretty conservative I think.

I think he means conservative relative to "what pipe will make my bike faster than an R1" threads that you see on other forums.

LOL yes. You know... members here mostly only put tasteful high quality mods and maintain the quality/high-end aura of the bike.

So far no neon green underglow, 10" wide rear wheels, etc. But give it some time.

There's a pipe that will make me faster than an R1?! Put me down for 2!

While there isn't a vast selection of gear for the HS, slapping goober mods on a decent Duc is like lipstick on a pig. This is also advantageous to someone like myself, who likes quality gear at second-hand prices. Thank you for the sweet gear, forum!

I was going to ask about recommendations on an extended swingarm for mine, but maybe I should give it a year or two.

Someone needs to slap a turbo or supercharger on one. Haven't found a Motard owner that's done that. You could probably just remove the front wheel because it would never touch the ground.

I jest about being hurt, he wouldn't really do that I know...I personally think these bikes have a marvelous balance of agility and power to weight...that said, I still dream about putting a MS 1200 in one, wouldn't need a turbo...

I've always wanted a Diavel after a test ride before I got my Hyper. Engine was just nutty. I wonder if they'll shoe the V4S into it...

I feel like the diavel might be one of the last to ditch the twin, given it's muscle bike/v-twin vibe. Multistrada would be my guess for the next V4 bike.
