So I got the tank bags for a hypermotard but the top tank bag is a bit awkward to ride around since its too tall and I can't see the speedometer. I replaced it with my old 848's tank bag. What do you guys think?

Looks goofy...No..Awesome..no..goofy...no... awesome.

I swear I stared at it for 2 whole minutes trying to decide lol.

It surprisingly works on the bike and yeah... short of a trailer, looks like she's set up for an epic road trip.

I think.

Those look super custom/ exclusive. Right out of the DP catalog?

Seen lot's of 848's, but never with those hanging off them. Looks like a robotic creature from the game Horizon. I think I like them a lot.

It's an OEM Ducati bag for an earlier Hypermotard. Fits well on a Hyperstrada too. I got mine on ebay. A little bit pricey for an old bag, but it works well. It consists of a tank cover/strap, a top tank bag and 2 side bags. Weight distribution and location of bag is just right. I'm a shorty 5'8" and it fits me right. I don't know about riders with longer legs.

It would only be used when I go motocamping or multiday rides. Planning of going cross country too. Otherwise, I travel light with just a backpack and a credit card.

Somehow I can't share the link from ebay. Just type Hypermotard tank bags. Ther's a set being sold now.

OK, found them, thanx for pointing me. Ran across these in the past but they were beige for some reason, which was a non-starter for me.

Looks like these are made for the air cooled 1100 Hypermotard. How much do then drape down beside the radiator sides? Don't care for the tank bag but the tank saddles...do they hold enough to make them worth the trouble? Thanx...

Fit is ok. The tank saddles are huge but with a weird c shape pocket. It is attached to the tank cover by a zipper and some quick release buckles.

These look interesting. I like the idea of having the load closer to center versus on the tail. Last trip I did I tried to pack as light as possible because I didn't want to impact the handling of the bike.
