Hyperstrada Brake Lines (Stainless Steel?)

I was looking at the front brake lines and couldn't tell if they were PTFE (Teflon) only or if they were wrapped in stainless steel (or something else) to minimize expansion? Can anyone comment if they have replaced the brake lines (I need to flush my brake fluid and figured now is the time to replace them if I am going to).

Thanks!

They don't look like they need upgrading from what I can see - they appear to be braided already, unlike bikes from yesteryear which used rubber hoses which deteriorate with time.

A brief google search also reveals that no one (that I can see) makes a bespoke kit for the 'strada, so unless you were to go messing with universal lengths in order to change the colour, I'd say you'd really be making a ton of extra work for yourself with no performance gain through doing so.

I just wanted someone to confirm it before I change the fluid. I saw the PTFE label on the line but I didn't see any flex when I used the lever and was on the fence. I'll follow your advice and skip swapping out the hose, thanks!

Just swap out the fluid. I'm running Motul RBF600 fluid front and rear, and it works great.

I second the use of RBF600, great stuff. I'd like to switch my OEM fluid out for the motul but I'm concerned about warranty - escpecially cause my front M/C seal seems to be weeping very slightly - wanna get that done under warranty without argument!!
