Is there a recent ECU update out from Ducati for the Hyperstrada?

Regarding this software update. Does anyone know if it may have anything to do with issues first / cold start? I have a 2013 Hyper 821 that stalls out with low rpm especially if I pull the clutch in coming to stop. My latest issue is it refuses to start until I turn the engine over 6 to 10 times. Most of the time the battery ends up dying before I can get it started and I have to charge then try again. I'm nowhere near a dealer. Is there anyway to get the update by sending just the ECU to someone who can update it? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the starter. Does it crank noticeably slow? If it hasn't been replaced, you have the ****** OEM from 1st gen production. New starter and new battery will solve the starting issue. Search for the crappy starter thread on here.

Done and done. I just put a Denso on and followed the thread here exactly. I'm now thinking that perhaps it could be bad as well as it was a used one? It sounds good, turns over quickly until the battery gets too low from trying to start it. I also replaced with Motoletric cables and a new Lithium.
