Hello - has anyone compared suspension of low to standard in a back to back comparison? What is the scoop on the difference in feel / ride?

I'd say don't consider the low.. There's no suspension upgrades for them later on if you decide to do so.. If you need the bike lower, get the lowered seat on the standard Strada.

Andreani has cartridges for low models forks also

all 2015s are the low version.

i rode a hypermotard for a bit over the weekend. I'd say suspension is about an inch higher, and the seat another half inch or so.

we were on VERY twisty roads (tail of the dragon/cherohala/etc) and my '15 strada on the scorpion trails kept up fine, but I did drag my shifter once or twice...I adjusted it higher and that problem went away.

get whatever fits you best.

um if i remember right the strada is in general lower then the hyper. Besides your test ride, can you point to the sites that say its lower for 2015 ????

Motard has different geometry and suspension bits, less rake so taller. The guys at my dealer specifically noted that they prefer riding the Strada because it's easier to saddle. Again, 2015 Strada are technically lower model, too.
