Mounting heated handgrips on the Hypermotard

I paid 300 for the SET of heated grips. Self install was very easy. I got them turned on for free as part of a normal service by the local Ducati God (master tech).

Part of the reason I went OEM is the controls integrated into the dash and also if my bike ***** the bed while still under warranty I don't want the dealer blaming aftermarket stuff on the bike for the problem.

So on this part number... they list a replacement clutch and throttle of each type. assuming one of each, correct?

thnx

Yep 1 of each type, (one is slightly different diameter for the throttle tube). I had to run some sandpaper across the ridges of the throttle tube to be able to slide the grip into place with grip glue. Splice the existing connectors for the heated grips onto the oxford grip wiring (Ducati ships the bike with both sides of the connector to "plug" the factory wiring) Plug the grips into the factory connectors then have Ducat activate them the next time you are at the dealer.

Easy Peasy :)
