MY13 v MY14

Silly question, but is there any differences at all between the MY13 and MY14 model of the Ducati HS?

A dealer I was talking to had a MY13 with zero miles on it, and was offering a compelling price for it. So is there any differences at all between the two?

None that I have heard of. I did the same with a sp. Why buy a 2014 when the same 2013 bike is a couple grand cheaper...

I bought a 2013 before the 2014 came out and was told there would be zero changes. Certainly the specs are identical

I was told by my local ducati dealership that the ecu manufacture changed from Siemens to Mitsubishi.. They said the Mitsubishi unit is not programmable or you can't upload exhaust maps to it unless it's a termignoni. Not sure how accurate that is, anyone want to chime in?

Why would they go non-programmable, especially with the Motard SP designed for track use? A new ECU might be a good step considering some of the fried systems popping up.
