Hi Guys,

I have managed to bend my gear shifter so looking for an aftermarket one that isn't much more than £100.00, preferably foldaway.

Any suggestions?

If you look at Zippy49's sig you can see he lists a 'Hammerhead shift lever w/folding tip' as one of his mods. I looked for one for a while but couldn't find a UK supplier.

Interested in the results you get on this one.

Yep I just bent mine back too.
Getting a bit more frugal ( replace with "Tight" as required ) as I get older I guess. Would have seen the day I would have splashed out. Saving money for go faster bits instead.

Big flaw or brutal genius when Ducati made the shifter all one piece. Search and you'll see temp fixes.

Last time I bent mine, removed the rubber boot, heated the peg at the bend and straightened. Be careful as it will snap if too forceful with it.

Same price as Hammerhead unit. I'm concerned they don't show the toe peg. This isn't something you can pull from the stockers.

Ground mine down to the point it was practically useless at my last track day. $130 to replace at the dealer. This is one thing I would consider replacing with aftermarket because the stock design is *******.

Does hammerhead also make a brake lever?

Doesn't look like Hammerhead makes anything for the brake lever. They have 2 different brake levers listed under "Ducati", and neither look to me like they'd work on our hypers. Too bad, these would make some nice upgrades. Looks like I'll be drilling them out and using some foldable tips.
