New guy from PNW

Good day, everyone.

I am Romeo, from a couple of hours North of Seattle.

I have been looking into Hypermotards and Hyperstradas for the past few weeks.

I will be going to look at 4 bikes in the next few days, With the intent on buying one (99% sure on a 2013 Hyperstrada) this weekend.

I will hopefully post pics and comments soon.

This forum has actually been a great read, since I've been lurking here for a few weeks now (just decided to get my login today).

Romeo, good luck with your purchase and welcome to the forum. Just be sure it's had all software and TSB updates. If not, I'd work in a trip to a dealer to check prior to purchase, which will probably cost $100 in the US. There's a way to see software version on startup but I'm not quite sure how to do it other than after 1st start after reconnecting battery. The throttle position sensor and CANBUS filter are also big ones.

Thanks for the good heads up.
The dealership is a good 5-6 hours away from me, but I'm planning on riding there one weekend, just to get it checked out.
The bike has "supposedly" had all the updates when he got it serviced last. He did have receipts. But, I know the software was flashed by the dealership when the installed the Akropovic full exhaust (retune). The dreaded 4K rpm shutter is gone.

However, I will say, the clutch mod is going to have to be redone, FOR SURE. I have less than a mm of travel between engagement and no. I've been riding since 1992, and I have stalled out twice today (lol, look like moron in front of people, lol)
