New LED Front Turn Signals

I am offering this new product rthat comes in two versions,

70 LED (35 LED each side)
140 LED (70 LED each side)

They fit in the factory handguards and have a perfect fit to the curvature of the handguard. I understand that other products require black silicone around the seams. Mine don't require black silicone and they mount exactly like OEM. A retaining tab on the inner side and a small screw on the back.

These are a sealed housing with the plexiglass lens molded into the housing. There is a shroud inside that hide all the circuitry and only expose the light emitting section of the LED. After these are assembled, the back of the housing is bonded to the housing and the pass through for the wires is encapsulated with resin. The wires have the matching connectors to the factory wiring. These are truely plug and play.

Other LED's have a red tint. The LED's I use are true amber and are extremely bright. It is hard to demonstrate the difference between my two versions, but I assure you will be impressed by either version.

They are currently listed on eBay and for a limited time I am offering free shipping.

Hello,

Looks very good.
But what about your rear turn signal/tail tidy solutions for the 2013+ Hypermotard?

I want to buy it eventually together.

Thanks for purchasing ducatijeff. They were dropped off to the post office earlier you should have by the weekend.

Hyperjens what about the rear fender eliminator that I make? Are you asking about buying as a discounted package for both the front turn signals and rear fender eliminator together?

No I don´t ask for discount.
Just want to see the rear turn signals which you offered in ebay.
If I buy both, i can save the shipping costs. :)

Now available on my website BMoto Free shipping for a limited time. Over the next few weeks I am going to see about expanding the amount of products I offer and bringing some new products as well.

Got my set installed finally! Thanks for the extra screws, sure enough I lost one during the installation. My wife's reaction..."They are blinding!" :D

Haha! There has got to be dozens of them around my garage. Enjoy your new flood lights.

I temporarily removed the ecommerce store because sales turned out to be primarily on eBay. These are still for sale and are popular on eBay. The store will return when I have more products.

Any recommendations on a way to use the turn signals as running lights? That would make the turn signal switch flip them off/on when signalling? If I could find a way to do that, I might buy a pair of these.

Yeah it can be done.

You have to use a 5-pin relay for each side. You would have to find a ignition switched 12v. There is a few places you can tap into - the OEM heated grip connection, GPS connection etc. and for each connection:

Power Feed - Ignition Switched 12V
Normally Closed - To Turn Signal
Normally Open - Nothing
Relay Coil Ground - to chassis ground
Relay Coil Feed - OEM turn signal 12V

So the turn signal will be lit when the relay isn't being charged. When the turn signal is turned on, the relay is charged in on/off sequence where it will switch between "Normally Closed" and "Normally Open" which will blink the turn signal.

The problem is that you might experience hyper flash where the turn signals blink abnormally fast. This can be remedied by using Ducati DDS (Ducati Diagnosis System) and switching the turn signal setting to LED. Every Ducati dealership has access to that tool.

The other way is using inline resistors to fool the ECU. I can't suggest a resistor without first testing the resistance of the factory turn signal bulb, the relay, and matching the resistances.

Also the front turn signals are currently sold out and I should have some done in the next few days.

So as you can see, the relay is defaulted to the "normally closed" (or ON position). When the turn signal is activated, it switche between the "normally open" (or OFF position) and normally closed positions.
