New LED Front Turn Signals

Whats the eBay link? Ty

They are sold out, I am sorry! I didn't anticipate so many orders with the beginning of spring. I just need to assemble everything and they will be relisted tomorrow. Thanks for your interest.

Yeah I am aware there is a similar product. Mine includes more LED's, are cheaper, don't require a screw on the outside to mount, and don't require a tube of silicone to cover any gaps. For the same price as theirs, you can get the 140 LED which is more than double the amount of LED.

Is the 140 version too bright??

I'm not sure how other drivers feel about it, but it is alot if you look directly at it. For most people, the 70 LED would be enough for most people.
Is the 70 version brighter than the stock one?? By the way, thanks for your answer!

One of the flasher is not working. It flash once and it stop right away after that. Help pls

I just wanted to give you guys a quick review of this product. I purchased his 140 LED off of eBay through the link provided. Received them quickly as promised and It was carefully packaged.
My first impression...
I was not very please with the craftsmanship, the way the signals were made and glued together. Some parts of them had left over glue coming out of one side and over the clear lenses. Maybe I'm just being picky, but for that kind of money I expect a much cleaner/put together product. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to those types of things.
On the plus side, the wiring is legit! I doubt it will ever fall apart. The instructions are clear and simple.
Installation took me just a little over an hour. Reason for that was because the right side LED screw hole that was suppose to line up with the hand guard was nowhere near where it was suppose to be. Maybe that one was a little off when it was machined or maybe it was because of my handguard. But one thing is for sure...the tiny screw was not helping and it was driving me crazy. In conclusion, with some drilling, a trip to homedepot and a bigger washer I made it work. The left side didn't give me any issues, but taking off the handguard off of the bike did help.

Overall I'm very happy with the way they look on the bike and how bright they are. My only concern is riding with them during rain as water can go in the areas where there's no glue. I was tempted to send them back to the seller, so that he can see it for himself. Maybe I'll take them off and put some silicone glue on the areas that are missing it, but for the price I paid, I should not be doing someone else's work.

Do I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY. They are the best looking LED turn signals out there.

to the seller- just do a better job of quality control. I would be happy to post picks once I get back in town.

Cheers

Very good output Firegod33r! Almost the same as me here. The problem about the one time flash for me was because of the computer of the strada. If it happens, put the emergency flash and it should "restart" the flasher

I've found an unfortunate problem with these signals... if you actually "use" the handguards (as in a tipover) the signal can be broken when the plastic guard flexes. I will PM our friend Mr. Balducci about possible improvements. The back needs more "meat" around the attachments.

That said, I've already ordered a new set. Still a fan. And I suspect that the OEM signal would not have fared much better.

Thats good to know since I've already had 2 tipovers. Luckily it was before I installed these new LED signals and I agree with you about the back being more meaty.
One other problem that I had the other day was after riding in the rain. My suspicion was confirmed, because I had a lot of water collect in the right one.If you own one of these run some silicone along the edges all around to make a better seal.

The back could be reinforced with a strip of metal or two in strategic locations. It would make the printing a lot more fussy, though. The wires take up some room, so a lot more material won't fit.

Whatever, I've got a spare now...

Sorry for the silence. I have been having a difficult time lately as I am now commuting to NYC for work. I am sorry for the issues that you two have had. My turn signals have held up to both hand guards being hit. Perhaps I was just lucky. With that said: I can vouch for the chinese aftermarket handguards. My turn signals still fit no problem in them.

zippy49, I do recommend you hang on to those LED strips inside the housing as they are very expensive and actually cost nearly 80% the cost of the product. With a little ingenuity they can be reused.

I can't comment too much on the craftsmanship problems. These are actually very difficult to make and assemble. I have improved since selling 10+ of these. I can assure the wiring is top notch. It's the assembly of the housing that is quite difficult. I apologize to those who have been dissatisfied with the craftsmanship.

For those who are undecided with purchasing: They do exactly what they are advertised and they are extremely bright.

Here are a couple of pics of the one I broke. The tang on the wire end broke off when the bike tipped over, so I superglued it back on (you can see that repair in pic 2). But the vibration and rough roads finished it off; it was dangling from the wires halfway to Seca. The nut plate end broke into two pieces, which I lost, and the end of the tang broke off too. My glue joint held. And of course it still works, I just got tired of seeing the tape holding it in.

At my employer we used a number of formed ABS parts. I learned there is a big difference between virgin and regrind material. Is there a better, higher strength material available for your 3D printer? And is it possible to recycle the LED strips into a new unit? I do like how bright they are!

Do you have a link for those hand guards?

Superglue doesn't work too great on that material. I use ABS plastic cement on these and others so that the plastic is physically bonded. As of now there isn't any material that is stronger without having some other negative properties. The LED's can be recycled into a new housing. Another option is that I also have some clear flexible tubing with 3M double side tape that they can be tossed into. I will PM you so we can discuss how to put those old LED into use.

The superglue held up better than the ABS did, but for most ABS bonding I agree that pipe cement works best. Used some recently to reinforce a new splash guard (also a victim of the tipover and rough roads).

A bit of rain water should not short the signal, but if there is any salt in it (road spray, etc.) than yes it might short. If it ever rains here again I might find out. :(
