I just bought a new Hyperstrada and being a forum member on other sites I went against the grain with my Ducati. It's not that Ducati is not 'liked' but it's kind of the 'Lamborghini' of motorcycles.
With each mile and twist in the road I have realized what a great motorcycle I have bought and the 'excitement' for riding has hit a new level.
I love riding the HS, it fits me perfectly, I'm 5'-6" and have no issues with stock windshield etc.
The lightest bike I've ridden with this much power, it is so easy to corner or change angles on S curves, very forgiving.
This is my first European motorcycle although I was born in Vicenza, Italy.
Moved to Texas when I was very young (parents were in Army) and have been on Japanese bikes. I owned a Harley many years ago and would not like another or any Cruiser type bike, it's just not my style of riding.
I've read quite a bit here already and have learned many things.
I'm in Central Texas, I have several motorcycles and love to ride.
Look forward to the conversations and maybe a 'ride' with other Ducati owners. Ciao..
