New User: Center Stand Issue (Hard to mount)!

Hi there! New user of a Ducati Hyperstrada 2016 here.. I seem to ba having a hard time mounting the hyperstrada on its center stand… I always need another person to help me chuck the bike backwards to properly mount it in center stand…
For the other bikes I previously used, I just need to put my weight down on the wedge of the center stand and it usually goes up and mounts easily… any suggestions or methods please?

That's weird. My 2013 lifts onto the stand with just my light weight. In fact it's the easiest lift I've ever encountered! Experience with other bikes shows that raising or lowering the suspension can make a difference to the angle the stand meets the ground, and it can thus take less or more lifting before the pivot goes up and over TDC. Do you think your bike may have been lowered?

You may be right? I got the unit from a reseller (dealer)… and the center stand was actually taken off (removed).. after I re-attached it this is the problem I had… Thanks for this input and I will have a ducati tech check this out..

Funny. I thought I was the only one. I also have a 16' low model. Never thought to think that the lower suspension might affect the angle of stand engagement. I too never had issues raising my older and heavier bikes on their center stands!

I ended up buying a paddock stand - i really should remove the center stand since I don't use it.

Thanks guys for the inputs.. i might be following your lead.. remove the center stand and get a paddock stand instead.

Shouldn't be hard to prop up if installed & working correctly. Weight on the kick plate, push foot down, rock bike backwards. I love my center stand but had to finally remove it to get full adjustability from reasets. Hate not having it.
